Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Blind Boxdle. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms for you.
The game and its availability
Blind Boxdle provides free daily collectible-guessing games for entertainment. Puzzle schedules, rules, catalog data, clues, features, and availability may change. We may correct results or metadata, pause a puzzle, restrict access, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
Results and statistics are stored locally in your browser. They may be lost if you clear browser data, change devices, use private browsing, or if storage is unavailable. We do not promise to restore local progress or streaks.
Permitted use
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Blind Boxdle for personal, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these terms.
You may not:
- break the law or infringe another person’s rights through the site;
- scrape, crawl, copy, republish, sell, or commercially exploit the site, catalog, data, or assets without written permission;
- use bots, automation, reverse engineering, or circumvention to access non-public features, disrupt daily results, or overload the service;
- introduce malware or interfere with site security or operation;
- impersonate another person, misrepresent an affiliation, or use the site to harass, defraud, or harm others; or
- manipulate ad impressions or clicks, encourage others to click ads, or otherwise create invalid advertising activity.
Content, ownership, and fan-project status
Blind Boxdle’s original code, writing, visual design, and branding are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of that material to you.
Collectible character names, product names, images, and trademarks belong to their respective rights holders. They are used to identify and discuss the figures featured in the guessing game. Blind Boxdle is an independent fan-made project and is not sponsored, endorsed, or operated by those rights holders.
Messages and feedback
If you send a metadata correction, idea, or other feedback, you confirm that you have the right to share it. You allow us to use, reproduce, modify, and apply that feedback without payment or restriction, but you keep ownership of any rights you already hold. Do not send confidential information.
Advertising and third-party services
Blind Boxdle may display advertising and link to third-party sites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, availability, security, or practices. Your dealings with an advertiser or third party are between you and that party. Advertising does not mean we endorse the advertised product or service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how browser storage, analytics, advertising technologies, and service providers process information when you use Blind Boxdle. It forms part of these terms.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blind Boxdle is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or accurate, or that particular puzzles, clues, results, or ads will always be available. Nothing on the site is professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blind Boxdle and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the site. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Your responsibility and termination
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blind Boxdle and its operators from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms or created risk for the site or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory rights or venue available to you under local consumer law, courts located in British Columbia will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes. Before filing a claim, please contact us and try to resolve the issue informally.
Changes and general terms
We may revise these terms as the service or law changes. The updated terms apply from the effective date posted above. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice. Your continued use after the new effective date means you accept the revised terms.
If any provision is unenforceable, it will be adjusted or removed only as necessary and the remaining terms will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about your use of Blind Boxdle.
